About University of Strathclyde – Neurophotonics & Optoelectronic Neural Interfaces

This research group focuses on the development of optoelectronic neural interfaces to better understand, monitor, and ultimately modulate neural activity. By combining photonics, semiconductor device engineering, and neuroscience, the work aims to address fundamental questions of brain function and dysfunction, while enabling translational neurotechnology for pre-clinical and clinical research.
