About University of Glasgow – Critical Technologies Accelerator

CTA has the following mission: to drive economic growth by providing JWNC based engineering expertise that works with local SME R&D teams in the fields of Photonics, Semiconductors and Quantum to deliver devices and technologies for high risk markets that industry cannot typically develop themselves. The CTA bridges the gap between academia and industry, engaging in and augmenting development of complex technology requirements for local companies. The initiative facilitates collaboration between the University of Glasgow and its strategic partners.

Open for R&D and collaborations

Novel photonic applications and solid state laser design and development. Electronic / photonic interface technology development. Advanced packaging design, simulation and fabrication.
