Watt Laser is a UK-based laser technology company specialising in the design, development and integration of advanced laser processes for high precision manufacturing. We develop our own hardware and in house software, allowing full control over process performance, data and repeatability. Our core strength lies in replacing complex, multi step or chemically intensive manufacturing methods with digitally controlled, single step laser processes that improve yield, accuracy and sustainability. Our proprietary MLAb platform targets critical challenges in advanced semiconductor packaging and high density interconnect manufacturing by enabling precise, cold laser ablation of fine features with excellent sidewall quality and process stability. This creates a step change in manufacturability for next generation devices. We work closely with industry and research partners to translate advanced laser physics into robust production tools, positioning Watt Laser at the intersection of photonics, advanced manufacturing and semiconductor process innovation.
