Our group is focused on ultrafast photonics. Semiconductor ultrafast lasers and photonic systems are at the core of our research. We are also keen to develop new applications that use these ultrafast lasers, particularly in high-speed sensing. In order to harness the capabilities of these lasers for such applications, we also develop novel regimes laser operation, as well as unique instrumentation which allows its characterization.
