This research group focuses on the development of micro-LED–based high-speed structured illumination systems, targeting applications in optical communications, advanced sensing, imaging, and emerging ultraviolet (UV) technologies. The vision is to establish Strathclyde as a leading centre for system-level micro-LED innovation, spanning device fabrication, electronic driving, optical system integration, and real-world deployment.
