About Heriot-Watt University – Tanner-Lab

Applying photonic research technologies to practical systems, often for healthcare applications. We have experience of taking novel photonic capabilities through to clinical testing (e.g. MHRA approved clinical study of novel time resolved imaging system). Significant experience in photon counting imaging and spectroscopy. Also fibre optic probes.

Open for R&D and collaborations

Keen to collaborate on novel instrumentation, often for healthcare applications, based on experience of taking novel photonic capabilities through to clinical testing.
