Kelvin Nanotechnology (KNT) is the commercial arm of the James Watt Nanofabrication Centre and offers cutting-edge nanotechnology services and solutions to a wide range of sectors, including industry, government, and academia. Since it was founded in 1997, the company has developed a substantial global presence, serving over 170 clients across 23 countries with its expertise in micro and nanofabrication research and development (R&D), prototyping, and manufacturing. Today, KNT is a leading photonic fabrication service provider that caters to various market sectors. It has positioned itself as a crucial part of the global supply chain for major telecom and datacom product lines. Notably, KNT is at the forefront of the quantum technology revolution, being among the pioneers in supplying miniaturised quantum components.
