About SPEERI

SPEERI is the strategic integration of two long-established collaborative Partnerships, the Energy Technology Partnership (ETP), and the Scottish Research Partnership in Engineering (SRPe), and comprises 14 Scottish Universities working collaboratively with industry, public sector and government to maximise impact in research, innovation, and development. SPEERI raises Scottish energy and engineering IR&D profile, adding value to Scottish University Partners and bringing benefits to external stakeholders in industry, public sector and wider society. SPEERIХs builds on existing areas of excellence and collaborative working ensuring Scotland remains a globally competitive driving force in energy and engineering IR&D by focusing on 3 critical areas: – Promotion and growth of world-leading research based on ScotlandХs internationally competitive research base through collaborative activity. – Translation of research for economic and social impact, through communication, conferences, seminars, workshops, special interest groups, and knowledge exchange activity. – Skills creation, driving economic growth, and a fairer, greener Scotland.
