Lumino Technologies is a UK SME established in 2024. Our team brings extensive experience spanning the satellite, telecommunications, optical, and quantum sectors. Several members of the Lumino team have previously worked together in successful telecommunications ventures, including: the design, deployment, and commercialisation of regional geostationary satellite broadband networks; leadership of projects integrating satellite systems with 4G and 5G mobile networks; conception & development of the world’s first commercial quantum communications satellite, delivered through a 100 million Euro public–private partnership with the European Space Agency. Lumino’s capabilities span the full lifecycle of telecommunications infrastructure, deployment and commercialisation. This includes market planning, detailed network design, systems engineering and architecture, programme and project management, regulatory engagement (including spectrum and licensing), supplier and partner management, service definition, network deployment, and transition to commercial operations. We are well connected to two UK telcos as well as supply chain for payload equipment (optical, mobile).
