The Role
As a member of the Commercial Operations team, you will help drive Kelvin Quantum’s commercial and funding goals. This role blends marketing and communications with hands-on coordination of grants and awards. You will build and run our marketing engine, telling our story across channels, while using that same visibility and content capability to strengthen grant and award applications, raise the company’s profile with funders and partners, and keep the non-dilutive funding pipeline moving. Your responsibilities will span managing the sales pipeline, leading customer and partner outreach, supporting grant applications, coordinating conference and exhibition activity, and creating content for our social media channels.

Key responsibilities

  • Marketing leadership – Own the marketing function – develop and deliver the marketing and
    communications plan across website, social media, newsletters, press and case studies, building a
    consistent brand voice for a deep-tech audience.
  • Grants & awards coordination – Coordinate grant and award applications end to end – track
    opportunities and deadlines, draft and assemble compelling written content and supporting materials,
    liaise with consortium partners, and manage post-award reporting and impact obligations.
  • Marketing-driven funding support – Use marketing assets (case studies, impact stories, track-record
    materials, partner endorsements) to strengthen funding bids and award nominations, and showcase
    outcomes back to funders, customers and the wider ecosystem.
  • Commercial operations – Maintain the commercial infrastructure, CRM, pipeline tracking, and systems
    for logging customer discovery calls, pilots, LOIs, and follow-ups to ensure nothing falls through the
    cracks.
  • Manage commercial admin — contracts, NDAs, co-development agreements and MSAs — coordinating
    with legal and tracking deliverables and milestones.
